I don’t usually feel like you need a recipe to make a wrap but this was a great combo of ingredients so I’m going to let it slide this one time. Please make this very simple and delicious wrap (I made it with lavash because that’s what available here but you can make it with tortillas or wraps or whatever thin bread products you have around).
Weekly Lunches: #12
I actually made new recipes for this week which is amazing because I don’t think I’ve made anything new for almost a month. I know that a lot of my inspiration will come back when the weather cools down and I think having a month off (when family comes to visit) should help too.

Falafel with yogurt sauce, spiced couscous, kiwi, grapes

Honestly if I did this without having to write something each time I’d probably post them more regularly. It’s why I can post them every day to my Instagram but somehow the 5 minutes it takes to make an entry here seems like way too much. Whatever, here’s food!
Black bean quesadillas, salad, peach
Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, salad, apple
Pelmini, carrots and hummus, apple
Aloo dohi, rice, salad, kiwi
Mac and cheese, apple
Menu: Laggy
Oof, I have been neglecting this site on and off all summer. My queue even ends at the end of this month but for some reason when it’s hot outside you don’t really want to cook as much (I know you’re shocked too!). When I have less recipes to post then I post less bentos and less menus too so it’s a pretty rough / vicious cycle and one that I have to break over and over since I don’t post often enough for habit. Anyway, here’s a menu!
Saturday aloo dohi, rice

sweet and sour chicken
vegetable fried rice
chocolate cake
Sunday egg burritos

Monday roast chicken and vegetables, biscuits, fruit

Recipe: Salted Cod Balls
I made these for my Eurovision party on account of Eurovision was in Portugal this year and after spending a week there last year I fell in love with salted cod, locally known as bacalhau. While I had to make my own salted cod it doesn’t involve more than just a little time and a lot of salt. You can skip that part if you really want to save time and just make sure to thoroughly salt your mashed potato mixture instead.

I am trying to be timely about things but somehow if I manage to fall a little behind everything comes down like an avalanche. Next weekend I’ll be in Southern Estonia all weekend so there will be only four lunches (probably) but we’ll just play it by ear as per usual.
Falafel, yogurt, kiwi, carrots and hummus
Zucchini-tomato galette, salad, kiwi, apple
Tortellini soup, bread, cucumber yogurt salad, peach
Pasta with peas, cucumber yogurt salad, apple
Chicken with snap peas, mashed potatoes, salad, apple
Weekly Lunches: #8
Feels like I’m back on track with lunches, at least for the short term. It doesn’t seem like much but actually it takes a surprising amount of effort to post things every day and keep track of lunches and so on.
Zucchini pancakes, maple syrup, yogurt with trail mix, apple
Scotch eggs, carrots and hummus, salad, apple
Creamy orzo with roasted vegetables, salad, apricots
Bean and vegetables soup, challah, banana
Latkes with sour cream and salmon, salad, apple
